Iulia-Andreea Smeu (KITE) is a multidisciplinary Romanian artist based in Basel, Switzerland. With a strong background in classical music performance - violin, Iulia creates her conceptual universe by making use of electroacoustic and digital sound, spoken word and visual elements (video).

Within her artistic practice, she is interested in exploring the potential of hybrid forms of expression and formats through the renunciation of labels and by embracing deskilling in its conceptual apprehension to serve the artistic purposes.
