Coming from percussion, Roberto identifies as a heterodox artist drawn to avant-garde creations connected to electronic worlds. His work has been showcased at festivals such as SONICA, SPOR, Manifeste, and MaerzMusik. Key influences include Fred Frith, Steven Schick, Christian Dierstein, and Håkon Stene. He is based in Basel, Switzerland.

In addition to his debut album AMOEBA (reConvert + Manassero), Roberto is currently working on AIR, his first solo album, set to be released in 2025. Over the past 10 years, his primary focus was reConvert, through which he premiered numerous projects and performed across many countries. He is also the artistic lead for y-band, EXIT Festival (Uruguay), and serves as Artistic Co-Director of FOG (Festival Offener Genres), a creative hub in Basel. In 2017, he received the Young Creation Award from INJUVE (Government of Spain). Together with Jennifer Torrence, he develops 10statements.com, a project exploring collaborative practices.

Currently, Roberto is focused on his solo career, researching and creating at the intersection of music and engineering. He also develops music within the context of club culture under the duo Mitospora.
